Video tribute to Bill Brennan screens at testimonial dinner

For the tribute to retired first selectman, Bill Brennan, Wilton videographer and photographer Gretchen Yengst created an 11-minute video that was screened at the testimonial dinner at the Cobbs Mill Inn in Weston on Thursday, Dec. 10.

The video was described at “the centerpiece” of the evening of tributes at the dinner attended by about 120 people, including family members, town and state officials, area first selectmen and former town hall colleagues of Brennan.

In an email message to The Bulletin, Yengst, who spent months working on the video project, said the video “went off splendidly and was interrupted often by applause as people responded to it. I would like more people in Wilton to enjoy the YouTube [video] as it speaks not only to Bill's accomplishments but town pride, which I certainly feel.”
