Taste of Wilton returning to historical society
The Wilton Chamber of Commerce’s ninth annual Taste of Wilton tasting event will return to the Wilton Historical Society, 224 Danbury Road, on April 4 for another year of food fun.
For restaurants, catering companies, wine and liquor distributors, and culinary personalities, Taste of Wilton is a showcase event.
For foodies, however, “it’s an arena to come enjoy offerings from restaurants, chefs, and wine distributors and manufacturers,” said Chamber Executive Director Debra Hanson.
“For the first time in many years,” Hanson said, FM broadcasters from Star 99.9 and 95.9 THE FOX have teamed up with the Chamber for event promotion and ticket giveaways.
Station DJs will be at the event as well for “some great musical entertainment,” Hanson added.
The following establishments are participating in this year’s Taste of Wilton.
- Village Market
- Aranci 67
- Bianco Rosso Wine Bar & Restaurant
- Cactus Rose Restaurant & Tequila Bar
- Jeff’s BBQ & Catering
- Georgetown Package Store
- Greenhook Ginsmiths
- Little Pub
- Lombardi’s Trattoria
- Marly’s Bar & Bistro
- Reiki Sushi & Asian Bistro
- Sweet Pierre’s
- The Painted Cookie
- The Schoolhouse at Cannondale
- Toozy Patza Pizza

Hanson said people planning to attend can look forward to “a really fun and engaging atmosphere where you’ll get the opportunity to share, with friends, food fans and wine buffs, what’s new and happening from our local selection of fine restaurants and catering companies.”
Taste of Wilton will begin at 5:30 p.m. Tickets are on sale now at the Wilton Chamber of Commerce office, Fairfield County Bank, the Village Market and the Wilton Historical Society.
Tickets may also be purchased online by visiting WiltonChamber.com.
Purchased in advance, tickets are $30; otherwise they’re $35 at the door.
Special discount pricing is being offered to members of the Wilton Historical Society for $20 per person.
The ninth annual Taste of Wilton tasting event is sponsored by Fairfield County Bank and Wüsthof Outlet Store.
Proceeds generated by the event will help to benefit the Chamber’s scholarship program, through which a scholarship is annually awarded to one commendable high school senior.
“The Chamber is pleased to create an opportunity for members and future members to showcase their products and services to the community and potential customers directly, face to face, all in one venue,” Hanson said.
“The Chamber is striving to promote their members and their businesses through these events, publicity and more.”
