Summer ferry ride
Sixteen members of Stay at Home in Wilton rode the ferry to Port Jefferson, N.Y., on June 30. They lunched at The Wave restaurant while taking in scenic harbor views, later enjoying ice cream and shopping. Among those crossing Long Island Sound were, from left, David Borglum, Ann Klotz, and Janet and Kris Kristiansen. Stay at Home in Wilton is part of a nationwide movement of a new generation of seniors who lead active and healthy lives and want to help others achieve an independent lifestyle while living in their own homes and neighborhoods.
