Summer farm programs
Ambler Farm’s summer program, Adventures at the Farm, is open for registration. This program gives students the opportunity to experience farm life by working in the gardens, spending time with the sheep and goats, and checking to see if the chickens have laid eggs.
Goslings will be new this summer, joining the resident baby chicks, turkeys, adult geese, ducklings, and rabbits, as well as visiting animals, that provide more opportunities for children to interact and learn.
Each week includes grilling in the garden, woodworking, hayrides, planting, harvesting, hands-on projects, animals, cooking and more. Students are divided by grade levels for appropriate grade-level activities, which change each week for variety.
The Preschool Summer Program is open to children ages 4-5 and starts the week of June 20. The Summer Program for students entering grades 1-7 begins the week of June 27.
Registrations forms may be downloaded from Ambler Farm’s website, amblerfarm.org.
