Millstone Farm and The Wilton Land Conservation Trust will offer two spring bird walks on Saturday, April 7 and 14, from 8 to 9:30 a.m.

Wilton High School teacher and birding expert Jim Hunter will act as guide. These bird walks are part of the Big Year the Wilton Land Conservation Trust is running throughout 2018. The goal is to see 200 different bird species in Wilton. Since Jan. 1, 67 species have been recorded, including two owls, a falcon and a bald eagle.

Millstone Farm was preserved with an easement in 2001, and The Wilton Land Conservation Trust has a secondary easement on the property.

Participants should arrive at 180 Millstone Road at 8 and gather and park at the farm’s main house. Carpooling is encouraged. Bring binoculars/cameras and hiking shoes. There is a limit of 20 people per walk.
