A seminar on taxes for small business owners will be offered Thursday, April 5, from 6 to 8 p.m., at Wilton Library.

Retired Internal Revenue Service (IRS) agent Joseph R. D’Agostin will lead the Tax Primer for Small Business workshop, covering business forms and how taxes affect business owners’ businesses and personal returns. Other related topics include identity theft, audits and estate taxes.

D’Agostin has a bachelor’s degree in accounting from Fairfield University, a master’s degree in finance from New York University and more than 40 years experience in accounting and taxes.

He retired as an IRS revenue agent in 2008 and has worked as an adjunct at Fairfield University since 1972 and at Manhattanville College since 2009.
