Silent auction supports Alzheimer’s Association

Brookdale Wilton’s Annual Silent Auction to raise funds for the Alzheimer’s Association will be held on Thursday, Sept. 29, from 4 to 6:30. A variety of items will be available for bids including gift baskets, gift certificates for local restaurants, hair salon and nail services, jewelry, limo services, hotel stay, prints, photographs, quilts as well as many other items. Hors d’ oeuvres and wine will be served.

Earlier this year, Brookdale Wilton was recognized by the Fairfield County Walk to End Alzheimer’s in the business category for placing fourth by raising more than $6,900 for the 2015 Walk. The goal this year is $7,500. Christy Perone, the sales and marketing manager who has spearheaded this event each year, was also nominated as one of the Women’s Champions for the Connecticut Chapter of the Alzheimer’s Association for 2016 for her continued support.
