Seeing the sights Stay at Home in Wilton seniors enjoyed a sunny viewing of fall foliage at its peak on a trip to Essex on Oct. 18. They departed the 1892 Essex train station and rode through the countryside aboard vintage rail cars, enjoying a box lunch provided by Stay at Home and Village Market. At Deep River Landing, members boarded the Becky Thatcher riverboat for a cruise along the Connecticut River, with Gillette Castle among the sights. Joining the train conductor, known as Bob, were, from left, Diana Pettit, Pauline Prevett, Janet Johnson, and Peter Nigro. Information: StayatHomeinWilton.org.
