Music on the Hill performs music of Mozart and Haydn

Music on the Hill presents two jewels of the Classical era — the Mozart Missa brevis in F and Haydn's Little Organ Mass — on Sunday, March 19, at 3 p.m., at the Wilton Presbyterian Church, 48 New Canaan Road.
The concert features the Festival Chorus and soloists, with strings and organ, led by artistic director David H. Connell, conductor. Artistic director Ellen Dickinson, organist, is featured playing the extended organ solo that gives the Haydn piece its popular name.
Both musical selections embody the qualities esteemed by the Age of Reason that produced them: clarity, rationality, and calm. They are being performed in a singular space for music that combines understated elegance with vibrant acoustics.
Tickets are $20 in advance, $25 at the door; students are admitted free. Purchase tickets online at, or reserve in advance at or 203-529-3133.
