A brief downpour did not dampen spirits of a standing-room-only crowd that turned out for the second installment of Wilton Library's Summer Music and More concert series last Thursday, July 14.

Members of the audience tapped their toes and shimmied in their seats to the music of The Motown Review Band that played such favorites as Heatwave, Please Mr. Postman, What’s Goin’ On, and You’re the Best Thing That Ever Happened to Me. The 15-piece band even had people singing along.

This afternoon’s performance is by The Creamery Station, which will present its funk/blues sound from 5 to 6:30 in the Brubeck Room and courtyard. Admission and refreshments are free.

The final concert of the series will be July 28, featuring Steve Kazlauskas performing Echoes of Sinatra.
