Kerry Hand marries Peter Linderoth


Kerry Joy Hand and Peter Hansson Linderoth were married June 21, 2014 at Our Lady of Mercy Church in Port Chester, N.Y. The ceremony was officiated by the Rev. Timothy Wiggins of Our Lady of Mercy Church and the Rev. David Rowe of Greenfield Hill Congregational Church in Fairfield. A reception followed at Shore and Country Club in Norwalk.
The maid of honor was Madelyn Hand, sister of the bride, and the matron of honor was Laura Bailer Gilbert, friend of the bride. The bridesmaids were sister of the bride Lindsey Hand, friend of the bride Kirsten Boreen, and cousins of the bride Anne D. and Elise Pennington. The flower girl was Noelle Titolo, cousin of the bride.
The best man was Stephen Linderoth, brother of the groom. The groomsmen were brother of the bride Kevin Hand and friends of the groom Adam Roy and Tyler Harris. The ring bearer was Tyler Braun, cousin of the bride.
The bride, a 2005 graduate of Wilton High School, is the daughter of David and Catherine Hand of Wilton. She earned her bachelor’s degree from Connecticut College and her master’s degree from Teachers College, Columbia University. She is a high school science teacher at Rye Country Day School in Rye, N.Y.
The groom is the son of Hans Linderoth of Fairfield and Christine Kapetan of Topanga Canyon, Calif. He earned his bachelor’s degree at the University of California at Santa Barbara and is enrolled in a master’s program at Sacred Heart University in Fairfield. He is the water quality program manager at Save the Sound in Mamaroneck, N.Y.
After a honeymoon in Europe, the couple is living in Greenwich.
