Hot off the griddle
A tradition of more than 35 years will once again take place on Monday, May 25, when the Kiwanis Club of Wilton starts the day’s festivities with its popular pancake breakfast. Starting at 8 and ending at 10:30 when the parade passes, by diners can enjoy the pancakes, sausages, blueberries and coffee all served by Kiwanians in their distinctive yellow aprons. The Kiwanis pancake cooking crew last year included, from left, Paul Young, Robert Pingarron, Erwin Ruckel, James Turnbull (partially hidden), Jeff Turner, Louis Reens, and Frank Oliveri.
