Holiday shopping benefits nursing patients
Holiday shoppers at the Historical Christmas Barn on Thursday, Nov. 16, from 4 to 6, will be helping Visiting Nurse & Hospice of Fairfield County with every purchase they make.
Housed in the historic Lambert House, Wilton’s oldest house is at 150 Danbury Road, at the intersection of Routes 7 and 33. It carries festive ornaments and holiday gifts from around the world including German nutcrackers, Christmas villages and carolers along with a selection of candles, soaps, linens, decorations and handcrafted gifts.
The Historical Christmas Barn will host this holiday shopping event, offering refreshments and a raffle, and donate a percentage of the proceeds from all sales to benefit the nursing agency’s patients.
A non-profit community organization for more than 100 years, Visiting Nurse & Hospice of Fairfield County provides professional nursing and support services, senior care management, physical rehabilitation, health education, community wellness programs and compassionate hospice and palliative care for adults and children in Wilton and throughout Fairfield County.
