A representative of a hearing aid manufacturer will address the Hearing Loss Association’s Southwest Connecticut chapter on Tuesday, Nov. 15, from 1:30 to 3, at the Norwalk Senior Center, 11 Allen Road, Norwalk.
Allison Brown, a field sales executive for Starkey, one of the world’s leading hearing aid manufacturers will discuss the meaning of audiograms. The audiogram is a graph which gives a detailed description of a person’s hearing ability
Meetings are captioned for those who need to read what is being said. A microphone and an inductive loop is used in conjunction with the t coil built into most hearing aids.
