Grey Rocks will perform benefit concert

Benefit concert

Grey Rocks, a band of Wilton High School students, will give a benefit performance Friday, May 9, 7 to 8:30 p.m. in the Brubeck Room at Wilton Library. The  performers are, from left, Cole Smith on violin, Forrest Rappaport on rhythm guitar and vocals, Wes Wallace on percussion, and Ryan Amodei on lead guitar and harmonies. The concert, presented by the high school’s Interact Club, will raise money to purchase LifeStraw water filters, which have the capacity of removing nearly all bacteria and parasites from 1,000 liters of water. The club will donate the LifeStraws to AmeriCares in Stamford, which will distribute them where needed. Tickets are $5/students, $7/adults. They will be sold next week at the high school, as well as the Wilton library circulation desk beginning May 6, and if any remain, at the door.
