Singer-songwriter Grayson Hugh and singer Polly Messer will come together for a “house concert” upstairs at Forza Five Holistic Healing Center on Saturday, Jan. 31.
Located in Cannondale Village, Forza Five is a three-floor fitness center, yoga studio, tea room, and now, a concert hall.
In this intimate concert, Mr. Hugh will talk about the healing power of music and how it helped him on his journey from a near fatal relapse with alcohol in 2000, to his recovery in 2004.
The singer is best known for a string of single hits off his first major-label album, Blind to Reason, including “Bring it all Back” “How ’Bout Us” and “Why Don’t We Talk it Over in Bed.”
According to a press release, “he will describe his adventure at the top of the music world, his fall, and his return to the world stage” alongside his wife and backup singer, Ms. Messer.
