Gingerbread houses support real houses
Jack Dodman holds his gingerbread creation intended to benefit a real house. Jack and other young people in Wilton made a neighborhood of gingerbread houses to benefit Habitat for Humanity by raising funds to build a fifth home in Bridgeport. They are on display at the YMCA on Danbury Road until Saturday, Dec. 16, when they will be sold outside Stop & Shop, which donated the food supplies for the houses. Any contributions will go toward the building expenses for the Bridgeport home. Those interested in joining the group may email email@example.com.
