Wilton Garden Club members kicked off the holiday season by designing centerpieces at Old Town Hall during the club’s annual holiday workshop on Tuesday, Nov. 27. Twenty-four centerpieces were donated to Wilton Social Services and 10 were donated to Ambler Farm. Wilton Social Services will distribute the centerpieces to families in need, elderly, and homebound individuals, and Ambler Farm will sell the centerpieces at its Holiday Greens Sale beginning Dec. 1. The garden club also made about 10 large wreaths that will be hung on buildings in town, like Wilton Library, Wilton Town Hall and the Hurlbutt Street Schoolhouse.
