Fashion show benefits social services

The Encore Club of Wilton’s luncheon and fashion show for the Wilton Interfaith Council will benefit Wilton Social Services. Featuring fashions by Lyn Evans Potpourri Design of New Canaan, It will take place Friday, Oct. 16, at the Shore and Country Club at Gregory Point in Norwalk. Socializing begins at 11:15, with lunch at noon.

Luncheon is $36 and includes a choice of Atlantic Salmon with Risotto Milanese, butternut squash and a sherry reduction or a traditional Cobb Salad with bacon, avocado, crumbled blue

cheese, hard boiled egg, grape tomatoes, roasted corn, Kalamata

olives and a choice of  dressings with hanger steak, chicken or shrimp. Rolls, dessert and coffee or tea are also included.

There will be eight models featuring three mode outfits.The models are: Dyane MacDaniel-Brandt, Gerry Carozza, Anne Richards, Mary Wagner, Donna Below, Maryann Grieson, Jackie Winter and Beth Burns.
