New Haven Symphony Orchestra 2015 Artist in Residence Chris Brubeck will perform at the Clune Center at Wilton High School in Brothers in Arts, a World War II-inspired musical journey featuring jazz, classical, cabaret vocals, and more. This special event, celebrating Veteran’s Day with music honoring the accomplishments and bravery of the uniformed services, will take place Sunday, Nov. 15, at 3.
The performance will feature William Boughton, conductor; Chris Brubeck, trombone; Olav van Hezewijk, English horn (NHSO principal oboe); Rich Clymer, NHSO principal trumpet; Guillaume Saint-James, saxophone; Didier Ithurssary, accordion; Elliott Forrest, visuals.
The program will feature Brothers in Arts by Chris Brubeck and Guillaume Saint-James, as well as Aaron Copland’s Quiet City.
Tickets are $25, $10 for college students, free KidsTix and Blue Star Tix.
