Cara Poli and William Kane were married June 11, 2016, at Rooke Chapel of Bucknell University. The Rev. Timothy Dugan officiated at the ceremony.
The bride is the daughter of Pamela Wells of Pittsburgh, Pa., and Peter Poli of Douglas, Mich. The groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. John Kane of Thunder Lake Road, Wilton.
The maid of honor was Courtney Poli, sister of the bride. The bridesmaids were Anna Lahti, Tomasina Crapis, Katelyn Melgar, Julia Valentin, Tara Franz, and Emily Norton. The flower girl was Shea Gallagher, cousin of the bride.
The best man was Stephen Kane, brother of the groom. The groomsmen were Brian Kane, brother of the groom, Greg Stevenson, Brian Lynch, and Chris Renaud. The ring bearers were Tyler Kane and Xavier Kane, both nephews of the groom.
The bride graduated cum laude from Bucknell in 2012 and received her master of occupational therapy degree from the University of Pittsburgh in 2015. She is an occupational therapist with Premier Therapy.
The groom graduated from Wilton High School in 2008 and from Bucknell in 2012 with a bachelor of science degree in electrical engineering. He is a nuclear engineer with Westinghouse Electric Co.
The couple spent their honeymoon in Australia and New Zealand. They currently reside in Pittsburgh.
