In addition to appearing around the world, he was recently featured as the artist in residence on American Public Media’s nationally broadcast radio program Performance Today.
Born in Inner Mongolia, Yu received his early training at the Shanghai Conservatory. He is currently studying at the New England Conservatory of Music in Boston.
During his performance here, Yu will be accompanied by pianist Dina Vainshtein, a collaborative pianist for the Walnut Hill School and the New England Conservatory.
