Breakfast at Betts' offers spring preview

To celebrate the arrival of spring, the Betts Store at the Wilton Historical Society headquarters on Danbury Road, will open its doors early on Friday, April 25. From 8 to 11 there will be a spread of refreshments and complimentary Prosecco, for visitors to enjoy while checking out new arrivals.

There will be many gifts for all occasions, from showers and birthdays to Mother’s Day and anniversaries. All items are made in the USA, many locally.

Among them are:

Hand-made fairy dolls embellished with bits of jewelry and natural materials made by Carol Andrews of Wilton;

Snake Eyes Yard Dice designed to be tossed on a lawn and packaged with directions for five different games;

Long-burning beeswax candles from sono-ei, an artisanal craftwork shop in Brooklyn.

New note cards from Lynda Campbell’s Saltbox Press of Wilton sold individually and boxed;

Cups and mugs decorated with whimsical birds or foxes hand-made by STK Ceramics;

Urban chic zip bags and totes from Seltzer Goods;

Red Bee Honey from Weston.
