For the second year in a row, lung cancer survivors Cathy Parese and Tricia Hartner will be hosting a benefit for the Bonnie J Addario Lung Cancer Foundation at the Wilton Hunt Club.
This year, the benefit is planned as a “Country Western Night” on Friday, June 5, from 7 to 11. The event is open to the public.
“Last year with just six weeks of planning we raised $40,000, and our goal this year is, of course, to exceed last year. We will be auctioning off a wonderful home in Nantucket, an evening catered by the Big Green Pizza Truck, bespoke jewelry, and other fantastic items,” a press release from Parese and Hartner said.
The Bonnie J Addario Lung Cancer Foundation (ALCF) focuses on research, patient support, education, empowerment, awareness, and advocacy, giving patients and families a road map to guide them and a support system to anchor them.
Tickets to the event are $85, and may be purchased online at https://wantedacureforlungcancer.yournextstepisthecure.org. Tickets may also be purchased at the door.
