Artists invited to merge sight and sound

Wilton artists are invited to submit works for a new exhibition at the city of Norwalk Parking Authority’s Maritime Garage Gallery. The show opens March 7 and will run through June 2.

Titled Chromatic, it will feature art that represents music, tones paired with visions of grandeur. According to a press release, the gallery is looking for pieces “that are the visual crossing of the sense of hearing and sight.”

All music genres are welcome and all mediums except freestanding sculpture will be considered. Clever uses of medium and interpretations on subject are welcome. Artists must be 18 or older.
