Anatole Konstantin talks about his youth under Stalin at Wilton Library

Author Anatole Konstantin will talk about his youth under the repressive Stalinist regime in the Soviet Union Wednesday, Feb. 12, from 6 to 7:30 p.m., at Wilton Library. This program was postponed from Feb. 3, due to inclement weather.

Wilton filmmaker Megan Smith-Harris will interview the author about how, at the age of 10 in 1938, he saw his father taken by the secret police and his family filled with fear.

His memoir of growing up in Stalinist Russia re-creates in vivid detail the daily trials of people trapped while World War II raged.
