Golfers will come together to support A Better Chance (ABC) of Wilton during the organization’s 19th annual golf tournament at Rolling Hills Country Club on Monday, May 16.

George Davala and John Morneau, co-chairs of the this year’s fund-raiser, decided to host the event at a Wilton venue since the tournament will benefit Wilton’s ABC scholars.

The event will include lunch, a shotgun start and cocktail reception after the tournament. A variety of prizes will be awarded for exceptional play over the 18-hole layout at Rolling Hills Country Club, 333 Hurlbutt Street.

“We are thrilled to host the golf tournament at Rolling Hills and believe it will be a challenging venue, yet fun course for all players,” said Davala.

Proceeds from the event will go directly to support ABC of Wilton’s mission to help transform the lives of academically talented minority students with financial needs by providing them with the opportunity to attend Wilton High School.

“The support of the Wilton community is imperative to the success of our program,” said Morneu. “We appreciate all the time and dedication of our volunteers and donors.”

ABC of Wilton currently has 12 scholars. A total of 35 scholars have graduated from Wilton High School and all of them have gone on to college.
