Going out camping can be a lot of fun, and many people get different things out of it. For some, they enjoy the beauty of nature and being outside and away from the hustle and bustle of day-to-day life. For others, they like the challenge of extreme environments or pushing themselves close to their limits, or at least the journey of reaching there.

Whatever drives you to go out into nature, you can’t do it without a good tent, and for that, Amazon has a lot of great deals on them going right now. While these aren’t targeted for extreme weather camping, they’re great for summer use, especially if you want something spacious.

For example, you have the Coleman Cabin Tent and the Coleman Dome Tent with Screen Room; both are excellent for two to four people. The latter especially caters to those who want to keep their belongings safe with the extra screened-in area, which can also function as a shaded seating area during the day.

If you want something bigger, there’s the Coleman 8-Person Tent or the even bigger Coleman 3-Person & 6-Person Connectable Tent Bundle, which can fit between one and three queen-sized inflatable beds, so you can sleep in comfort and style. All these tents are relatively easy to set up, especially if you have a few helping hands to get you going.

While you’re at it, we’d suggest grabbing this 142-piece Emergency Survival and First Aid Kit from Luxmom and this Ironsten Camping Cooking Utensils Set if you don’t already have it. Both will help you get a little bit extra out of your camping without adding too much extra weight to the outing. Amazon is also having a sale on Coleman coolers that will keep beverages cold for five days in the summer heat.

Once you do buy the tent and gear, though, the question is where to go from there, and for that, we have a list of the top 50 places to camp in the Bay Area, which can give you a great idea of not only where to go but also what sort of trails and camping spots to expect. Or, if you want something specifically along a shoreline, we have some great tips for camping in Lake Tahoe this summer.
