An afternoon dedicated to older adults, held every other year, attracts hundreds of people interested in getting the most out of life. Included are all aspects of senior living: health, finances, travel, entertainment, safety, law, where to live and what to do. Senior Community Day is free, open to all residents in the area, families and friends. The goal is to make life for seniors as fulfilling as possible. There will be new information and new ideas, with representatives from senior services, businesses and organizations gathered together in the one event that covers just about everything that concerns older adults. It will take place Sunday, Sept. 15, 1-3:30, at Comstock Community Center. Exhibitor space and sponsorships are still available. The committee working on the event includes, first row from left, Lizabeth Doty, Donna DeRocco, Cathy Pierce, Judy Zucker, Christine Pfeffer; Betty Johnson, Barbara Newland and Elaine Abrams. In back are Patrick Russo, Peg Koellmer and Eloise Barron. (Not pictured are Diane Maclean, Christy Perone, Louis Reszoly and Lois Alcosser.)
