Downloads Workshop
BYOD! Bring Your Own Device Wednesday, Sept. 9 at 1, and follow along as Melissa Baker demonstrates Wilton Library’s free downloadable eBooks and audiobooks. There is something for everyone and hours of enjoyment for patrons with Wilton Library cards. Please bring your device, Wilton Library card and passwords. This class begins Tuesday, Oct. 20, 1 to 3, and runs for 10 weeks. This class is for the player with very little or no bridge experience. Instructor Dan DeVlieg will take players from beginning steps to more advanced concepts by having them play the game. Fee: $95 for 10 weeks.
This course is ideal for the person who used to play bridge but has not done so for years and needs to get up-to-date on the latest advances in this forever-evolving game, for the person who plays bridge but feels developmentally stalled and needs help getting to the next level of proficiency, or for the moderately experienced social and/or duplicate bridge players. It takes place Fridays beginning Sept. 18, 1:30 to 3:30; $75 for the eight-week series. Dan DeVlieg, Instructor.
Duplicate Bridge is a form of contract bridge in which contestants play identical cards, with each deal scored independently, permitting comparison of individual scores. For all levels of playing. Dan DeVlieg will supervise. Wednesdays, 10 to 12:30, $5 drop-in fee.

Join instructor Viola Galetta for this jewelry-making workshop. No experience necessary. Enjoy the fun of making your own beaded jewelry. Select materials to match your own style. First and third Friday of each month; $5 drop-in fee.
Basic instruction will be provided for projects, and the company will be great. If you have a work in progress, bring it. If it’s all new to you, come give knitting a try!
