Police lunch

Wilton Police will host their annual complimentary luncheon for Wilton’s senior citizens on Wednesday, Feb. 21, at Ogden House, 100 River Road. Police officers will serve lunch and Chief John Lynch will deliver his second “state of the town” presentation to seniors since being sworn in as chief last year.

During his service with the department, he has been responsible for all operational functions, including patrol and investigative services. Additionally, he was responsible at times for training, records management, management of the facility and vehicles, and numerous administrative assignments.

The luncheon is open to all Wilton seniors.

Book discussion

Carol Kaelin will lead a discussion of John Adams, David McCullough’s Pulitzer Prize-winning biography of our second president. The program will take place  on Tuesday, Feb. 27, at 11, at the senior center, followed by lunch at noon in the café for $3. Reservations: 203-834-6240.

Elder law dialogue

Attorney Christine Tenore, Wilton resident and partner at Eliovson and Tenore in Fairfield, will answer questions on a number of legal issues. The focus on Wednesday, Feb. 28, at 1:30, is updated powers of attorney, living wills, conservatorship, wills, trusts, and probate. Meet in the senior center lounge.
