Mah-jongg The senior center offers two different types of mah-jongg, a tile-based game. Chinese mah-jongg is usually offered on the second Tuesday of the month at 1:30 and the fourth Tuesday of the month at 12:30. Kay Chann supervises this game and would be happy to instruct any newcomers on how to play. On Wednesdays at 1, American Mah Jongg is offered. American mah-jongg is different than Chinese mah-jongg in several ways. It utilizes racks, jokers, and \u201cHands and Rules\u201d scorecards, and has several distinct game-play mechanics. Gale Roeder and Pat Wernig supervise this game. To play either type of mah-jongg, please call the senior center at 203-834-6238 to be put in touch with the facilitators.
