Medicare information On Thursday, Oct. 12, Nancy Lombard from the Southwestern Connecticut Agency on Aging (SWCAA) will present What's New with Medicare in the senior center lounge from 1 to 3. This program will contain useful information for all Medicare beneficiaries, particularly those seniors new to Medicare. Advance registration is not required. On Monday, Nov. 6, representatives from SWCAA will meet one-on-one with individuals regarding the Medicare Part D prescription drug program. Appointments are available between 10 and 2 for any Medicare beneficiary who has Medicare Part A or Part B or both. November is the time to get the help you need to choose or change your prescription drug plan. It is strongly recommended that you review your plan annually as plan coverage and drug costs often change for the coming year. Computer classes Word Basics for Beginners is for people who are new to word processing. Some prior use of the mouse and knowledge of the keyboard are required.
