We all hope to face aging gracefully and many do, but along with expected physical changes there are often issues related to mental health that deserve attention.
RVNA’s Laura Switzer, a licensed clinical social worker, is presenting an educational seminar on Wednesday, Jan. 13, at 2 p.m., at Ridgefield Crossings. She will be discussing ways to cope with stress, depression, anxiety and other aging issues.
From her 24 years of clinical experience, she knows the coping mechanisms that can be employed to maintain and improve quality of life for seniors.  The event is free and open to the public.  Light refreshments will be served.  Get the new year off to a good start by educating yourself on these important issues.
Ridgefield Crossings is at 640 Danbury Road. RSVP to 203 403-4383. For more information on educational programs provided by RVNA, call 203 438-5555 or visit ridgefieldvna.org.  RVNA extends best wishes to all for a happy and healthy new year!
