LoFrisco Family Cookbook takes off

Book signing is a new experience for retired corporate litigation attorney Anthony LoFrisco of Wilton, but he’s getting used to it.

LoFrisco, author of the self-published cookbook, “The LoFrisco Family Cookbook,” spent the weekend signing books at Lord & Taylor is Stamford.

“The book signing at Lord & Taylor was a great success--so much so that they are considering a repeat book signing,” he said following the event. I had wonderful conversations with people who bought books mostly for friends or relatives who loved to cook. The youngest cook enthusiast was 6 years old. He enjoyed hearing how, when I was his age, my aunt allowed me to fry leftover spaghetti which to this day remains one of my favorites.”

The book is on sale on Amazon. There is also a gift-boxed version.

“Shoppers who glanced through the book were anxious to discuss their own family stories of food, cooking and good times,” LoFrisco said. It was personally pleasing tome to see the broad grins on the faces of those anxious to talk about their childhood memories.”
