Wilton Republicans endorse Stravato-Favarolo for registrar

The Wilton Republican Town Committee has endorsed Analisa Stravato-Favarolo as its candidate for registrar of voters. Republican Registrar Tina Gardner recently announced she would not seek re-election.

At an endorsement meeting Wednesday, May 18, the committee unanimously voted in favor to endorse Stravato-Favarolo.

“Analisa is a long-time member of the Republican Town Committee,” committee chair Al Alper told The Bulletin.

“She’s very involved, very involved in the election process, so she’s very qualified and motivated, and I believe that she will do a terrific job representing our party as a Republican registrar of voters.”

Stravato-Favarolo is the vice chairman of the Republican State Central Committee of Connecticut and has worked for the town of Wilton as an assistant registrar, assisting with this year’s presidential preference primary and last year’s annual town meeting.

She has served on the Building Inspector’s Board of Appeals, and has history in town as vice president of Trackside Teen Center and as a member of the Kiwanis Club.

Stravato-Favarolo studied finance at Iona College in New Rochelle, N.Y.
