State issues reviewed at breakfast

Wilton’s legislative representatives — Senator Toni Boucher, Rep. Gail Lavielle and Rep. Tom O’Dea — will offer their insights into this year’s session at a Legislative Forum Breakfast on Tuesday, Feb. 24, at 8, at Wilton Library. The event is sponsored by the Wilton Chamber of Commerce and the Connecticut Business and Industry Association.
Ms. Boucher, Ms. Lavielle and Mr. O’Dea — all Republicans — will speak on a broad range of issues that affect Connecticut business owners and residents on a local, state, and national level. Transportation, education, and public safety, as well as the state’s financial condition, are just a few of the major issues this session. Those attending will have an opportunity to speak with their representatives and ask questions.
The Legislative Forum Breakfast is free and open to all in the community. Reservations are strongly suggested and may be made by visiting wiltonchamber.com. For additional information, call Janeen Leppert at the Wilton Chamber at 203-762-0567 or Karen Danvers at the library at 203-762-3950.
