Registrars invite voters to check their status

In preparation for the Nov. 4 state election Wilton’s registrars of voters, Tina Gardner and Carole Young-Kleinfeld, will open their office Tuesday, Sept. 30, from 8:30 to 4:30 for the purpose of revising and completing a correct list of all electors who will be entitled to vote. Voters may also stop in at any time during normal business hours to the registrars’ office in town hall to check their voter registration information.

The Nov. 4 state election will include the offices of governor/lieutenant governor, u. s. representative in congress, state senator, state representative, secretary of the state, treasurer, comptroller, attorney general, and judge of probate. All three polling places — Wilton High School Clune Center, Middlebrook gymnasium, and Cider Mill School— will be open for voting from 6 a.m. to 8 p.m. Nov. 4.

Wilton voters may use the secretary of the state’s Voter Registration and Polling Place Finder at dir.ct.gov/sots/LookUp.aspx to check their registration and polling place. For those who will be absent from town on Nov. 4, absentee ballot applications are available now from the town clerk’s office or on wiltonct.org. Ballots will be sent out beginning Oct. 3.
