Rep. Gail Lavielle (R-143) joined her fellow Connecticut House of Representatives members in taking the oath of office in the House Chamber on Wednesday, Jan. 7. She was sworn in for her third term representing the 143rd district, which includes parts of Wilton, Norwalk, and Westport. She has been chosen by House Minority leader Themis Klarides to serve as ranking member of the General Assembly’s Education Committee. She will also serve on the Appropriations and Transportation Committees. This year’s legislative session will adjourn, June 3.
