The Connecticut Business & Industry Association has endorsed Toni Boucher of Wilton for re-election to the state Senate, representing the 26th District.

“This upcoming legislative session will be one of the most critical we’ve faced as our economy continues to recover slowly, lagging behind the region and the country,” said CBIA President and Chief Executive Officer Joe Brennan.

“We must elect candidates who understand the urgency facing our state, and will make the decisions necessary to grow the economy, create jobs, and help Connecticut reach its full potential.

“Because of that, we’re pleased to endorse Toni Boucher as she will continue to work on strengthening Connecticut’s economy.

“Toni understands the need to get Connecticut back on track.

“She has made the difficult decisions in an effort to keep Connecticut competitive and has served her constituents well.”

The 26th District includes Bethel, New Canaan, Redding, Ridgefield, Weston, Westport, and Wilton.
