Rita W. Weber, 86, loving wife of J. Kelson Weber of Wilton, died peacefully Thursday, April 24, 2014\u00a0 with her family at Norwalk Hospital. Born March 1, 1928 in Utica, N.Y., she was the daughter of late Howard and Margaret Wilson. She is survived by her husband of 63 years, J. Kelson Weber, her daughters Beth Morgan of Wilton, and Susan Weber-Wehnert and her husband Michael of Annapolis, Md.; her two grandchildren Jennifer Schmidt and her husband Christopher of Manchester, Conn., and Kelson C. Weber of Annapolis, and great-grandson Charles K. Schmidt of Manchester. She is predeceased by her sister Eileen Worden, and brother Thomas Wilson. \u201cRita brought love and joy to everyone around her. Her presence will be profoundly missed by her family and friends,\u201d her family said. She was active in her community serving as an office manager for the Wilton Board of Realtors, and volunteering with the PTA, Girl Scouts, the Wilton Garden Club, and the Wilton Thrift shop. She especially loved sailing, traveling, gardening, and most of all spending time with her grandchildren. Friends may visit with the family, Monday April 28, from 3 to 6 at Collins Funeral Home, 92 East Avenue, Norwalk. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Tuesday April 29, at 10, at Our Lady of Fatima Church, 225 Danbury Road.
