Thomas Ford Swick Sr. of Wilton died on Nov. 15, 2016. He was 95 years old. Born in Park Slope, Brooklyn, in 1920, he attended The Hun School of Princeton and later graduated from Dartmouth College, class of \u201943. He served in the United States Army Signal Corps during World War II. He had a long career in advertising, transitioning into the commodities business. He played tennis into his 80s and, as a grandfather, regularly attended school productions, music recitals and Little League games. He was a resident of Ogden House, where he spent many hours in the company of friends. He is survived by son Thomas Ford Swick Jr. of Redding, daughter Susan Swick Wallace and her husband Miles Wallace of Norwalk, son Robert Bartlett Swick and his wife Susan Swick of Norwalk, and six grandchildren: John Bartlett, Katherine, Matthew, Ryan, Megan, and John Hamilton. Additionally, he is survived by step-grandchildren Emily Wallace and Abby Wallace Rachinsky and step great-grandchild Samuel Rachinsky. There will be a private service.
