Natalie Lorenz Raymond, 73

Natalie Lorenz Raymond, of Windham, VT passed away suddenly on November 14, 2014 surrounded by family.

Natalie was born April 1, 1941 in Philadelphia, PA, the daughter of the late Carl and Natalie Lorenz. Natalie was predeceased by her parents, her daughter Candace, and her step mother, Mary.

Natalie is survived by her loving husband, Carlton “Skip” Raymond 3rd; her children, David Raymond and his wife, Kathleen, of Monroe, CT; Cathy Landolfi and her husband, Tom, of Chatham, NJ; Cara Logan and her husband, Tom, of Monroe, CT; her sister, Carol Miner and her husband, Ken, of Weston, VT. Natalie is also survived by her grandchildren, Colin, Caeley, and Caroline Raymond of Monroe, CT; Sean and Christopher Landolfi of Chatham, NJ; and Kaitlyn, Sawyer, and Amelia Logan of Monroe, CT.

Natalie was married to the love of her life, Skip, for 52 years and lived in many locations from Pottstown, PA to Windham, VT. They lived 24 years in Wilton, CT but her real love was Vermont.

Natalie attended Skidmore College. She was active in the Second Congregational Church in Londonderry, VT and was president of the Timber Ridge Association. She loved animals, especially the family cats and dogs.

Natalie thoroughly enjoyed life. She was an avid golfer, winning three member/member championships at Tater Hill Country Club. Natalie was an accomplished gardener and skilled interior decorator. She could fix anything. No project was too large or too detailed. Natalie enjoyed traveling, especially a yearly excursion to Sunset Beach, NC with Skip.

Most importantly, she loved spending time in Vermont with her family and friends. Natalie was many things to many people. She had a great sense of humor and laughed often. She will be remembered as a woman who was both intentionally and unintentionally funny.

A memorial service for Natalie will be held at the Second Congregational Church, 2051 North Main Street (Rt. 11), Londonderry, VT 05148 on Friday, November 28th at 12 noon. Interment will follow at Riverside Cemetery in Londonderry, VT.
