Kenneth E. Ziem, 61, a lifelong resident of Wilton, passed away Jan. 8, following an extended illness.
Ken was a high-fidelity enthusiast and enjoyed many genres of music, especially jazz.
Self-employed as a painter and paperhanger, he was a graduate of the United States School of Professional Paperhanging in Rutland, Vt.
Ken was born on Jan. 29, 1953 in Jacksonville, Fla.
He is survived by his parents, Walter and Marion Ziem, David and Dale Ziem of Bethel, Holly (Ziem) and Ken Secskas of Stratford, and Thomas Ziem of Danbury.
Calling hours will be at the Bouton Funeral Home, West Church Street, Georgetown, Conn., on Saturday, Jan. 17 from 10 to noon.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Regional Hospice and Home Care of Western Connecticut.
