Frances L. Day died peacefully on March 15, 2015 at a local care facility.
She was born on June 24,1925 in Newark, N.J. to George and Charlotte Bock. She was raised in New Jersey and that is where she met her husband, Herbert M. Day.
After moving to California and then to Nebraska for a short time, she and the family settled in Weston, Conn. where she lived until her passing.
Day was preceded in death by her husband, Herbert, in 2003 and an infant son, Donald, in 1958.
She is survived by her five sons: Steven (Patricia) Day and Herbert A. Day of Emmett, Idaho, David Day of Wilton, Daniel (Christine) Day of Boise, Idaho, and Jeffrey Day of Caldwell, Idaho. She is also survived by several grandchildren and great-grand children, and one sister, Lida Erd, of Morristown, N.J.
A small ceremony will be held at the Norfield Church memorial garden at a later date.
