Letter: Too many scandals in Clinton’s closet
To the Editors:
Am I the only person who is awed by the power of this one man? His wife under investigation by the FBI, he has an extremely improper, if not illegal, meeting with none other than the Attorney General of the United States on a Friday, the day before she is to testify before the FBI. She meets with the bureau for three and a half hours without being sworn in, then the following day is a Sunday and the day after a national holiday, so there wouldn’t have been much time for the agency to compare her statements with those given with the sworn testimony of the others who were called before her, and the next day the Director of the FBI gives all the reasons she should be indicted, then ends up saying she should not be charged!
The one comment he made that certainly should be given some deep consideration is: “To be clear, this is not to suggest that in similar circumstances, a person who engaged in this activity would face no consequences.” Meaning that Mrs. Clinton is above the law?
In the heyday of the mobs in this country, some may have owned a mayor, a congressman or senator, but never did any of them come close to owning the FBI and the Dept. of Justice, which appears to be a possibility here, but then again, while he was Governor of Arkansas it seemed as though he owned the state he governed, did whatever he wanted with no consequences.
It isn’t just about emails and servers, not even about Benghazi, although both are pretty high on the list, no it goes back to Whitewater, travel-gate, pardon-gate, human-gate, file-gate, Hubble trouble, trooper-gate, China-gate and the many other scandals in which the Clintons have been involved, along with many suspicious deaths of anyone who got in their way.
And now we know she perjured herself while testifying before the Benghazi commission having told them under oath that she never sent or received classified information on her servers while serving as secretary of state, a lie confirmed by Director Comey of the FBI. I have not heard of any action being taken for this perjury, so what is really going on here?
Do we really want someone like this running our country? I for one say no!
