Letter: Third Grade Fun Night a success
To the Editors:
This past Friday we celebrated Third Grade Fun Night with more than 160 kids at Cider Mill School. This PTA-sponsored event was a big success thanks to the help we received from numerous parties. We would like to thank all those who made it possible.
First and foremost to the administration and staff of Cider Mill, specifically Dr. Mitchell, Mr. Gossman, Mrs. Contreras and the wonderful custodians. We appreciate your support, time and efforts in making the event possible. Thank you to all those community businesses and groups who volunteered time or donated products — specifically Wilton Martial Arts, Soccer Extreme, Wilton Parks & Recreation and Wilton Pizza & Pasta.
Thank you to all parent volunteers who led teams through eight activity stations or ran the activities themselves. Finally, many thanks to the volunteers from Wilton High School from both The Key Club and Top Inclusion Models, who helped with numerous tasks and made sure all kids were engaged in the process.
This event would not have been possible without all the help we received so we are most appreciative. We are looking forward to next year — Fourth Grade Fun Night — with these amazing kids and these wonderful school and community partners!
