To the Editors:

This is a belated “thank you” to a pair of good Samaritans who helped me in the snowstorm on Saturday, Jan. 23. I was returning from a trip to Village Market at the height of the storm at about 9:30 Saturday morning. I was driving north on Ridgefield Road, in a red and black Mini Cooper. (A very bad choice of wheels for the weather!) Just before the crest of the hill, at DeForest Road, I lost traction and was getting nowhere fast. All of a sudden a Nissan Juke, heading south, appeared alongside. Another car materialized behind the Nissan, and in no time, two guys teamed up to push me to the point where I could get going again.

I didn’t have time to do much more than yell “thank you” out the window, as I didn’t want to get stuck again. So hopefully these two Samaritans read The Wilton Bulletin, and will see this letter. Thank you very much for helping out!
