To the Editors:
In April, the Wilton High School community celebrated another wonderfully successful Festival of Arts and Languages thanks to the efforts of many students and teachers, and the support of the WHS PTSA! Over the span of a week, there were nearly 50 events offered that celebrated arts, music, languages and world cultures. Many of these were produced and led by students, such as a presentation by the Amnesty International Club and a workshop on Japanese anime. Several professional groups were also invited to perform such as an improvisational comedy ensemble, a Tibetan meditation instructor and a New York City-based Indian Bollywood dance troupe.
For over 20 years, the WHS PTSA has been committed to generously contributing funds to make our festival a reality and help enrich the WHS community by extending learning beyond the classroom. A special thank you to the many parent volunteers in PTSA and for all that you do, and we couldn’t do it without you!
