Letter: Taste of Wilton marks another successful year

To the Editors:

On behalf of the Wilton Chamber of Commerce, I would like to thank everyone who joined us at our 7th Annual “A Taste of Wilton,” held on June 9 around the Town Green Gazebo. Threatening skies and a challenging weather report did not dampen the spirits of the exhibitors or attendees as our seventh year proved to be the best yet. A delicious array of fine food and drink was beautifully presented by local restaurants, bakeries, grocery stores and wine shops for the sampling pleasure of more than 300 attendees.

Participating exhibitors included Village Market, Portofino Restaurant, Luca Ristorante Italiano, Marly’s Bar & Bistro, Fleur de Lis Academy, The Painted Cookie, Sweet Sabrina’s Cake Shop, Stop & Shop, Toozy Patza Pizza, Bistro 7, Sweet Pierre’s, Bianco Rosso Wine Bar & Restaurant, Georgetown Package Store, Palm Beer, Little Pub and Wilton Pizza, all of whom produced an amazing variety of their specialties.

Heartfelt thanks to Fairfield County Bank, our event sponsor. Supporting sponsors include entertainment sponsor Star 99.9 & 95.9 Fox, media sponsors Wilton Bulletin, Wilton Villager and the Hour, rental sponsor Durant Party Rentals, print and design sponsors Prosperous Printing and Conceptual Imagery and hospitality by Wilton Family YMCA and Wilton Library. We sincerely appreciate the cooperation extended by the Town of Wilton in allowing the Taste to be held in the heart of the community.

Don’t forget to Shop Wilton!
